iFilm TV network celebrates anniversary

September 9 has marked the anniversary of iFilm TV network, exclusively dedicated to bringing Iranian films and series to the global audience 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

iFilm TV is an Iranian entertainment network which consists of four channels in English, Arabic and Persian (iFilm Farsi and iFilm 2).

Programming includes TV series, movies, live quizzes on arts, backstage documentaries on films and ongoing productions, movie and film reviews, short films and documentaries about Iran.

It usually shows series that already aired by various IRIB channels, but it has also had a successful series production including ‘Yadavari’ (Remembrance), ‘Molkavan’, ‘Gileva’, ‘Gildokht’, and 'Win-Win' game show.

Through a combination of satellites and Internet, the channel reaches hundreds of millions of viewers in all parts of the World.

In 2015, iFilm was shortlisted by an international jury for a prestigious Eutelsat TV Award.
